Pets should never be left in parked cars

Cracking the car windows on a hot day does NOT cool off the car. Leave your pets at home.

Try on a thick winter coat, then sit inside your parked car. It won’t take long for you to overheat! Imagine how a dog feels.

Summer Pet Safety

When it is 70 degrees outside, the inside of your car is 90 degrees or more.  It takes a matter of minutes for your dog to overheat, cause brain damage, or to die, in a parked car. In most states, leaving your dog in a parked car is illegal and considered an act of animal cruelty. If you see a pet in a parked car on a warm day, immediately contact the authorities.

If you see something, say or do, something!
