All breeds are welcome here! To live their best lives, dogs need socialization, exercise, training, stimulation, companionship, enriching activities, healthy treats, plenty of rest, and lots of love! Wagging Tails team of experienced, Pet CPR & First Aid trained, pet care professionals, also known here as Wagologists, provide all that, and more, in a FUN, safe, supervised, clean, environment.

We know every pet parent wants to know how their dogās day was, (but they canāt tell you!), as part of our service, you receive daily Report Cards with photos or videos of your dogās day!
Wagging Tails daycare for dogs is MORE than just your typical day of play, nap, and repeat! We have created and refined an ENGAGING and ENRICHING dog daycare program that offers educational activities, sensory activities, exercise, swimming, agility, stimulating play, with cozy, relaxing spaces for nap time. We also offer seasonal activities that engage your pet in weekly celebrations. Wagging Tails Dog Daycare Program stimulates your dog mentally and physically. We promote a nurturing environment where patience, care, and love, aid in promoting a trusting human/pet bond and provide positive interactions between our Wagologists, and other canine guests.
Whatās a resort without a pool?
INDOOR AND OUTDOOR POOLS! From April to October, our daycare offers a unique opportunity for your dog to swim outdoors in actual swimming pools! From September to April, the Newington location boasts an INDOOR, heated swimming pool for year-round exercise and activity. Your dog will return home tired and happy, after a day of fun with their furry friends.

We know dogs really enjoy their playtime, nap time, treat time, and ALL the time, here during their days at daycare ā BUT, in an effort to enrich your dogās days, Wagging Tails has created and offers UNIQUE activities to engage your pet mentally and physically. These services are loved by BOTH our human and canine clients.
WEEKLY activities change by the season- with Crafty K9 creations, made by your pet engaging their senses, while creating a work of āheartā for you. Treat of the Week, like Woofle Wednesdays, provide homemade, healthy snacks, or stimulating lick it activities. Thereās no boredom here! Weekly Daycare Pawties and Celebrations include special photograph set ups, costumes, treats and games. These aid in enforcing the sit/stay commands while your dog has fun. AND you receive adorable pics! Thinking Thursdays brain games and puzzles for your dog to figure out and work to earn healthy treats. Frozen Friday Ice Cream Social, Monday Manicures, Pool Pawtiesā¦and so many more! Weāve created some enriching, educational and fun activities for your dog to enjoy! Weekly event vary based on the season! Some events include photos, treats and games. Some recent event examples include: Luau, Pool Pawty, Foam Pawty, Bark to School Pawty, Howloween Pawty, Easter Bunny Pics, Santa and The Grinch Visit

Play time!
Your dog(s) will make plenty of friends, (both human and canine) in play groups customized according to size, breed, age, and temperament. Wagging Tails provides enriching play equipment, in a spotless facility, equipped with air scrubbing equipment that kills viruses and bacteria causing canine illness, and piped in spa grade lavender scent to aid in calming canines. We pick experienced pet care professionals to care for your dogs. Our staff are trained to know pet behavior, and physical attributes leading to play, aggression, exhaustion, etc.
With an expansive, fully equipped, sanitized facility, convenient hours, unique activities, and adoring staff, your dog will return home tired and happy, after a day of fun with their furry friends!

- Please contact us for age requirements. We offer pet care for all ages! YES, we do have Puppy Nursery care, and yes, we do have Senior Dog Care.Ā

Dogs 12 months of age and older SHOULD be spayed or neutered to participate in our daycare program. However, we understand that many breeders and veterinarians are recommending later ages for the surgeries. So, Wagging Tails will discuss with you the options we offer based on your petās age, behaviors and training. If your dog is over 12 months of age and is not spayed or neutered, this does not mean that they are not eligible for our daycare program. It means that we will evaluate their behaviors and place them in the appropriate playgroups or individual care program. Please contact us with any questions.

Dogs must be on a veterinarian approved flea or tick preventative.

Proof of up-to-date Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella and Canine Influenza vaccines are required. As of 2023, many vets are not recommending Canine Influenza vaccines. If your vet does not recommend the vaccine, then we will waive the requirement.

Proof of up-to-date town licensing is required.

Proof of a negative Fecal Exam within the last 6 months. If you do not have this, Wagging Tails offers this service.Ā You can drop off a specimen, or we can collect one for you! Just ask!

All dogs must have a temperament evaluation prior to their acceptance into our daycare program. This evaluation is performed over several hours. Evaluations are offered daily, by reservation. Dogs are required to spend 5 or more hours for the evaluation.Ā You will receive a detailed report card. Evaluation Process is $40 and is nonrefundable. If your dog has not been with us for over 6 months, the Evaluation Process must be repeated.

If your dog exhibits signs of aggression towards other dogs, we regret to say that they will not be accepted into group daycare. However, we do offer other programs with individual daycare options.Ā

Dogs must have quick release collars. If you do not have one, we offer collars for sale in our lobby.

Please leave your dogās toys and bedding at home. We have plenty here!

If requested, will feed lunch to puppies under 9 months old, at no extra charge. All other requests to feed midday meal incur an additional Feeding Fee. All lunches must be provided by the owner and in an individual Ziploc baggie with the dogās name printed on it.Ā House food is available for an additional fee.Ā

Reservations for daycare are required. Last minute cancellations or no shows will result in a No Show fee charged to you, or a package credit deducted.
